Bees in a can? you sure there isnt something loose rattling around? In my old S13 the splash guards underneath were a little loose, and didnt move until i hit about 90-100, then they used to make a rapid buzzing sound. Fixed the prob by pulling em off Very Happy .

The run on at the end (keeps running) can be that you have some carbon built up inside the cylinder, causing "pre-ignition" or run on.
