Sat, 08 June 2002 02:08 I bought an 86 SX for my wife and when I found out what a great driving car it was, I got one for myself.(2l 3SGE) The motor with Yamaha head is such a sporty free-revving motor you end up giving it plenty of stick! At just over 200000 Klms both motors blew within a year of each other, both suffered from spinning a big end bearing. In each case, I had it towed to an importer and had a low mileage import motor dropped in. No problems at all and was a cheap effective fix. One tip...swap injectors from your motor,injectors on the import motor were blocked from sitting around. [Report message to a moderator]
