Classique71 Forums Junkie Location: Colac, Victoria Registered: May 2002	Re: 3s-gte(st185) into ta-23 conversion Mon, 13 January 2003 12:14 bar the initial 90 degree swap - finding the RWD bellhousing , starter motor , and exhaust / inlet plumbing issues - was there any need for the likes of sump modifications ( i guess thats a custom call ? ) gearbox is a w57 ? supra box ? 120mph - 12 second pass ? hell thats good - seeing the stocko 2t's maxiumum speed down a VERY LONG STRAIGHT is about that - and a 18 sec quarters the usual . proven tested theory re top speed - took me a few Km to nearly get there with a slight tail wind and a lot of braking room to pull the old girl up again ( 119 MPH on my 71's guage - 4700 RPM in 5th or there abouts - too scared to look down beyond that ) [Updated on: Mon, 13 January 2003 12:17] [Report message to a moderator]
