ah yes i know what it is now. there is a main thick plug that runs to the batt on the screw on top of the alternator. those three just plug in to the back but i don't think you can wire them straight to the batt though.
It could have something to do with the checking of a working alternator so it may just be to light a light. of it may provide power.you will need to spin the alternator somehow (i have used a drill, you don't get full voltage but at least the top pin should give you the voltage to expect.
