..In that case, all you need to do is go buy a 4K for about $200 at the wreckers, buy a 3k head while youre there, drop it off at an engine building shop, tell them to port the head, get a bigger cam, a better carb, like one off an 18RG, or the twin carb set up from an old school sprinter, the 18rg one is the same bolt pattern. lighten the flywheel, prolly a tougher clutch too,and youre cooking.
on the way home, buy all the diffs you can find, it will eat them for every meal.
i think this will be a more cost effective way of getting the car to do what you want, than doing a conversion.
on the other hand...if you want more than about 110 RWHP, you would do better to get a 4age or t motor, i wouldnt bother with an 18RG.
