Josh,
Yes it does run equal length half shafts! But what I was saying about the GT4 shafts, is the drivers shaft (the long one in a 2wd) has a spline for the transfer case directly after the inner cv joint. whether you can replace this with an extension shaft or not I dont know =[
The MR2 shafts are equal length half shafts, which has an extension shaft bolting to the back of the block and joins at the inner cv joint on the drivers side. So the shafts are equal length upto the inner cv which is whats mean when they say equal length shafts! The CV angles will be consistent on either shaft, inconsistent cv angles causes more torque steer problems and such as well as differing torque loads.
