Yup.

The offset and diameter of the wheel will change the way the front suspension and steering works. Typically you can go up an inch in diameter and width, keeping the offset the same and you won't notice the difference.

Go too big and you will need to change the offset to keep everything working right. It may seem obvious but what most people forget is that the wheel and tyre are an integral part of the suspension of the car and changes can affect the handling, of the car, breaking performance and loads on parts (Not always improving on factory). Thats why you need an engineers certificate for changes greater than 1 in from standard.

As far as what your looking at, I think the standard size is 14x5.5, so 14x7 should be fine as long as they are the same offset as factory. I would even go for 15x6.5 or 15x7, you get a better choice of tyres with a 15in. rim.
