KDog Regular Location: ACT Registered: July 2002	Re: 1UZ-FE into a MX83 Cressida Tue, 14 January 2003 23:42 Sorry can't remember about the standard auto (its a different A340E to the A340E found behind the SC400) with regards to the two ECT modes, pretty sure it has O/D button. I'm not sure if the MX83 auto ECU will control the SC400 A340E but it's worth a shot. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. If I get a chance i'll try and check it out. Either way I would be using the A340E from the SC400. I'm sure you will need to get an engine from a SC400 or possible the Crown Majesta not Crown Royal Saloon because you need the front mounting sump. Bias will know for sure, sorry I can't remember the details - have a few people who I have helped through there transplants and its hard to remember every ones setups. Plus i'm mainly worried about my own. It figures i've helped 5 people complete their cars and mines still not running. And I only did a small amount for bias anyway. Biased is probably fairly busy ATM because he's just started a new business. [Report message to a moderator]
