Yet another joy of living in Perth. I bought my R154 for $1300, W58's are around $200 - 400, and W50's are $200 (lots of V8 boys still chase them?!?). A second hand Toploader can be purchased complete for around $600 - 700 (or recond for $850 bare). The Falcon 5 speeds are all generally T5 based and not worth a pinch, they seem to damage fifth quite easily, are mega expensive to repair, and there are lots of different varieties not to select due to their poor power handling characteristics.
My opinion: if you want the toughest 5 speed, as discussed here, spend the money and get the R154.
