(i did spend 20 or so minutes hurting my hand also until i woke up to the fact that they are rubber) then i measured the correct spacing (so my foot doesnt touch 2 pedals at once when im not heel/toe'ing) and just drilled holes in the old ae86 metal pedals. the accel and brake are now PERFECTLY spaced for my feet and the pedal now have GRIP with the rubber nodules. id say one of the most satisying jobs ive done in my car. makes the driving experience a lot more confortable. i would rate them 1/10 for rice and 9/10 for function.
