i had the exact same prob when i installed my boost guage....i stuck the t piece in the middle of one of the vac tubes and it would rais from 20 to 0 but it wouldnt show any posotive preassure....it was being equallized from the other end of the vac hose...not sure exactly where it was going but it went in under the intercooler sumwhere (st165)....so i pulled the T piece out...ran the boost guage line straight into the vac tube comming from the intake manifold/tb (cant remember where it came from at the moment) and i sealed the end of what was left that was heading in under the ic....dunno if this helps ya or not tho...
