Yeah I should mention my car wasn't daily driver and I talked to their tech department and said for cars that are not daily driven with oddyssey you need to always have them on a trickle charge.
But i dont see the benefit of dry cell really over these batteries that are designed to go in the back of cars (mercs, bmw's, porsche, etc).. they have the tubes to vent the gasses and less than half the price of dry cell!
My mate has a dry cell though and drives the car every day and for 3 years now it's been good.
