What about the various urethane preparations that foam up in the various cavities? I remember seeing a Japanese guy mixing and putting in this stuff into his JZA70 sills. It kind of ended up like the Selleys "Space Invader" type expanding foam. He was doing it to increase chassis rigidity though.

Apexi are selling a "Super Penguin System" (or something named just as ridiculous) on their Japanese web site.

I also remember Ford putting a special foam in their Falcon B pillars to make them more rigid.
