The pic above is almost exactly my AW11 wiring, exept for the cold start stuff which is now in 3SGTE loom land. Got the starter back with a few things inside fixed. I'd over tightened the gear on the positive terminal and in turn rotated the base of it which shorted inside, whoops. I now have a weird intermittant problem where the wire going to Pin 1 on the M2 connector (pictured above, but pictured much better below) is earthing somewhere. It's got me f*cked where and why it's intermittant (sucks to find), but I'll be persisting with it tonight. Again, thanks all for your help.
