Fri, 15 July 2005 14:44 I reckon you will be fine with the w58 provided you treat it with a little TLC.The other thing is that you will have all the hard to get parts.That bell and flywheel you say you have are extremely difficult to get.[w58 to 1j] So,if you are unlucky enough to break one,a bare box can be found for $300 [just sold one at this price] compared to $1000 for R154 bare box.Also nice light shifts from w58.R154 is a little clunky in the shift in comparison.Wouldnt want to go over the 225rwkw or 300rwhp though.Good Luck.
