If it's rusty, not running and not registerred then it's worth practically nothing.
Good condition unregisterred cars tend to sell for $1000 or less in my experiance. Gianttomato had a 2 door advertised on the forum with rust in the sills but it ran and drove fine and it was asking $500.
There is also one in Melbourne with rego, new paint, mags etc for I believe $1400.
Having said that get some pics and get the car listed for your friend and see what people are willing to pay for it. Any car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
