if you really want to know, send an email to Bruce and Al (the MS guys) to develop their PWC (precision wideband controller), i think they went and bought many different models to work out the speed and precision with which they actualy controlled the sensor, and how accurately that reflected the actual gas content (using specific pre-mixed gas cylinders)...
