L -> R. T50, W58 and J160
L -> R. J160, W58, T50
As you can see, J160 shift position is a country mile behind the W58 one. I strongly doubt a simple "kink" will sort this out.
From memory "ddeane" did this mod - not sure what in. There are a few considerations - the rearward position of the shift interferes with the handbrake lever. Search for some of his posts....very informative.
