sideshow Forums Junkie Location: sydney Registered: March 2003	Re: 4agte computer Tue, 19 July 2005 14:28 only reason mkicroptechs have bad name is the fukin tight asses whoi buy them cant afford to get it tuned properly i dont know how places can supply wire and tune in ecus for under 2000 and do a very good job some places fit a full microtech loom and tune it pretty cheap and when i look at the job its so fukt and then when u go to drive the car it might beok but if its a very cold mornin it runs like shit it takes afew days to tune any aftermarket ecu especially gettin the cold start to work properly u need ot keep it for afew mornings and test it now to do this its not cheap any ecu needs this sort of work to get it to be good enough so as it doesnt get a bad name a motec or autronic can be just as bad as a microtech if tuned badly personally microtech shits on haltech and wolf and ems mainly becuase they are plain and simple and start every time most engines dont need ecus with many extras the main advantage u get with a motec or autrronic apart form more outputs is the actually internal processor and how it calculates everything [Report message to a moderator]
