I did butcher the thread getting it out. I'll put that one down to experience or lack of.
Now that its out I want to detach the end form the rest of the rod that goes into the steering rack(cv). The tread on that(where you can make adjustments when wheel aligning) will not move so I cant get the end off. If I twist too hard I fear it will damage the CV??
Sorry for the dodgy explanation but Im not too mechancially educated???? Im a desk jocky, and I hate it.
