Check the battery terminals, give them a hit with a hammer or remove then and clean, sounds like its got a faulty connection causing it to not be able to get enough current through as when a starter motor runs it uses hundreds of Amps, is it manual? then try and push start it, or roll it down a hill and clutch it, that way you will know its an electrical fault in the starter motor set up, follow every wire that comes off the starter motor and make sure it has a good connection, it sounds like its a problem with the main current flow to the starter, once again check battery leads, few good wacks to the terminals could fix the problem and check all EARTHS!!!!!
