aussie260z Regular Location: ACT Registered: April 2005	Re: 2jzge into Zed Thu, 21 July 2005 21:51 "Leave the engine and box where they are - low and back" It aint going anywhere, not after building that gearbox crossmember, that really sucked Low and Back, thats why its where it is, had a bit to do with clearance, but for handling ive been told, get all the weight of the front wheels and put the sucka as far back in the bay as possible, i can live without aircon However............ive noticed something, The Zed has the 2jzge/5-speed and Tailshaft all in place now, and the front end of the car is sitting pretty high, id say about 1-1.5" higher than it should be, I have 2 zeds, conversion Zed and daily driver zed which has stock suspension, I measured the conversion zed and the distance from the top of the tyre to the bottom of the guard at 4.5", on my other zed, this distance was 3" approx, Then i checked the angles of the lower control arms, the LCA of the conversion zed is much more than the angle of the other zed i have, the other zed has almost vertical LCA, conversion zed has about a 30deg angle going down, Could this be because i sat the engine really far back in the engine bay and took alot of weight off the engine crossmember and removed the engine weight of the front wheels? thus making the car sit higher at the front???
