mx83toy Forums Junkie Location: Sydney Registered: May 2002	Re: Cressida conversion 1jz-gte vs 2jz-gte Wed, 22 January 2003 00:23 well what id do if i were you... msg jayzee i think he has a spare jzx81 cross member.. if memory servs me well the 1j and 2j mounts are exactly the same.... shape, pattern and location i guess this would be a good starting point for the convo....this way there is no chopping and welding and the steering and suspention can stay the same....you could use the cressi radiator and the gbox crosmember off the cressi should fit or be easily modded to fit....the speedo cable should screw in and grant from sixworks has made a converter so your tacho works...what you'll have to sort out is the wiring and a coola other that that you'll need pacients, money and time ohh and pacients....good luck [Report message to a moderator]
