Allan is correct, driving a non-syncro, or "crash-box" as they are sometimes called, isn't all sunshine, rainbows, and lollipops. I guarantee you 99.8% of drivers would absolutely shit themselves if they tried to drive a HR or HC truck. Smile

Yep. actually in most cases if you use the clutch in a roadranger box while driving you will clash the gears.
When I learned to drive, no gear box was syncro so you had to double the clutch to get a smooth change.
And it might surprise you that even your gear boxes today can be changed without the clutch if you listen to your engine and change with the revs. I drive a auto now, but still to this day if I drive a manual I double the clutch.

P.S So wheres my "H" plate?
