can you get in through the servace windows to the windscreen wipers?? that might be a start, see if there is any obvious cracks in the inlet piping. The servace windows should be some in the engine bay, not too sure though. to pull out a dash in a newer car is a real pain, it seems the newer the car the harder it is to pull out the dash. Grab yourself a manual and/or put the screws clips in a plastic bag and lable it or leave the screws in and tape them inplace. thats all i can recomend.
