(I am assuming here you can't find the temp wire in the ENGINE loom)

Find the SINGLE WIRE PLUG near the thermostat.
Not either of the 2 wire ones, but the single wire one.
Unplug it, and put a multimeter on it.
Now go into glovebox plugs, and test which one it is.
Now, for the dash side of it, the MX73 uses a BLUE wire. The MA61 uses a YELLOW-GREEN like you have looked for.
You will most likely have the Y-G (I put MX73 there just incase)
Am I correct in assuming you are looking at the plug where the glove box goes?
