Yep Ed web based research.  Ok, a bit more work for the post.
Nah, for the first 2.5 years I worked my ass off. The protocol I developed meant that my experiments started at 2 am and finished at 6 or 7 at night, and I did 2 or 3 of these a week and worked 48 - 50 hours a week. Read around 700 papers, did a pile of presentations and posters and now am writing papers. Also my supervisor has suggested I set up a new protocol, start doing more experiments and teach the guy who will be continuing the stuff I started, so I'm back at the lab in development phase!!!
Worse still, my out, a full time clinical job beginning in July has just disappeared (funding for the position vanished....DOH!) so he has suggested 'we' (me) go berserk doing experiments and writing papers.
Today whilst at work, I have been rooting around with my data to make pretty pictures and statistical sense out of it (lies, lies and damn statistics!).
Oh well, I suppose I can get the write up happening soon, as if!
