Fri, 29 July 2005 03:32 well look at it this way, you could replace the bottom end, but the condition of the engines internals maybe stuffed already and pointless to just replace (bottom end), getting a 2nd hand 3sge with 170,000km you could also have the same problem unless you inspect the whole engine, or you could rebuild the whole engine and make it pretty much brand new as i have done, quite costly, but if he plans to keep it for along time then maybe the way to go.
