I encountered a problem when i realised that my stock ke10 tailshaft doesnt fit the 5 speed. So i ventured to the wreckers and bought a ke70 tailshaft (which is two piece; Unuseable). I bought this coz the spline off this tailshaft fits the 5 speed output shaft. i was going to take apart the uni and use it on my stock ke10 driveshaft, but alas, the uni is a different size and cant be swapped. All i need to know is what one piece tailshaft from later model corollas will fit the output shaft on my 5 speed, so i can get one and cut it down to fit my ke10. Or even better one that is the right size and will fit my 5 speed.

Any help is appreciated.

i cbf emailing but..

if your KE10 has the small unis (some have large ones) just grab the front yoke of a KE30 with a jap dif.. ie it MUST have the small unis... it will swap straight over but new unis are a good idea.

KE55/KE70 with bog diff have the stoopid holden uni... sucks..

just use KE10 driveshaft (2" shorter than KE30), and a KE30 front yoke with the same size unis and all will be sweet.. i did this to my KE15 so i know it works...
