Unless someone here can give flow measurements vs. RPM or is willing the measure the flow vs. RPM (by supplying the fuel to the engine with an electric pump and measuring the flow of the mechanical pump) then I would be careful about here say. If you had the time then fit a fuel pressure gauge to mechanical pump and watch to see sufficient fuel pressure is being maintained at continuous high RPM e.g. when you have it dynoed. If fuel pressure drops back to 0 then you are going to have problems... In my opinion I would use an aftermarket fuel pump like a Holley Red (no external reg required) with a fuel pressure gauge fitted on a pretty hot engine like yours. http://www.holley.com/products.asp?product=12-801- 1 [Updated on: Sat, 06 August 2005 11:30] [Report message to a moderator]
