hey everyone,
i made a thread a while ago about yr 12 major work and i just wanted to let everyone know that i have decidide to get a KE55l, finsh the conversion from auto to manual, install a gearbox, recondition a newer 1981 4k engine and install the engine and paint the engine.
just a few questions:
if i paint the engine what should i use to paint it and what sort of paint should i use?
where would i find a guide to recondition the engine?
where would i find some guides on this car and how to do these sorts of things to it?

block, shouldn't matter, but the paint under the exhaust manifold will peel off it is not some kind of high temp paint.
for guide, pick up a "yellow book" off ebay for under $20.. ie toyota repair manual for K series engine..
