Mercedes attempted a 5 rotor engine in the W116... went like shit off a shovel but got around the bock before needing a refuel...
Theres a very small number that still do exhist but good luck finding one you can afford within this lifetime...

Wrong.
Mercedes did a 3-rotor & 4-rotor C-111 concept car back in 69-70.
CLOWN...... If it has a rotary engine, I'll make an exception. I'd even own a super rare Citrons GS-Birotor. Damned ugly car, but its unique engine adds character.
robRA40.... I read a short piece on the Tokyo motor show & it stated that Toyota showed a Cressida with a Wankel engine. No mention of a 13B.
KEbluey..... I drive a 20B (triple rotor-twin turbo) powered "Eunos Cosmo". Sorry, but most Toyota's are too bland & boring for my liking. To add more mystery to this. Toyota wanted to join the rotary game in the early 70's but would have been years behind Mazda & Nissan who where almost ready to introduce their 1lt Datsun Sunny.
Toyota's idea was to simply buy Mazda but the Japanese Gov prevented this forcing Toyota to go it alone. The suspicious part to this is that Toyota used Mazda engines as their experimental power plants for rotary development.
Although I have a sneaking suspicion that under the Toyota carby & plumbing lied a 13B Mazda engine I need to find out more on this venture.
