What kind of boost do you plan on running in it? Honestly... if you're staying under about 25psi, the stock gze/smallport rods should be up to the task. Just prep them properly ie polish/shotpeen. Have a look at the rods while they're out of the block... they're pretty MASSIVE!!!

Pistons, as said, are pretty easy to find. I actually had a set of genuine GZE pistons with rings for sale but they're now sold pending payment. If it falls through, i'll let you know. I paid about $560 for pistons with rings and they're forged and ceramic coated. Oh and the comp ratios are 8.0:1 or 8.9:1, not 8.5. If you want to splash out though... you can always go for some lighter pistons.

Bearings are easy as well. I personally got some ACL bearings. They have the one sizing that fits all 3 tolerances so there's no mucking about. You could get some TRD bearings if you really wanted to though. Last quote i got was for about $390 for mains and rods. These will need ALOT of checking and re-checking though as the tolerances are within 0.004mm.

Eddie.
