Dam, thats nice to know. I've given my car a look over and also checked the Mk3 manual off the main page and i couldn't see any switch besides the steering wheel ones. I might plug them back in on the weekend (when i get the dash back together) and see what happens.

Also i have some 'not plugged in' wires leading past the gearbox toward the centre consol could these be it? according to the Mk3 manual i DL'd the should be the seat warmers if i had them.

OH and another stupid Q how/where do i get replacement bulbs for the heat/AC control box? they've got a funky rubber holder and a 14v buld, but the 14v bulb has the back bit 'broken' off and the wire threads through the rubber creating the contact. SO do i brake the back bit off or do i need to source an equiv. bulb?

EDIT: due to bad typin.
