I had an ST162 Celica which uses the same springs as an AE92 corolla and so my experiences may help.
I had 17 inch wheels and put in the King Spring Super low springs.
The front shocks were permenantly compressed as the springs were to low. Was like there was no suspension at all. This ended up pumping all the gas out of the shocks. You really should change your shocks as well if you go for the supper low springs.
The rear wasn't too bad.
With one or two people the guards rarely scrubbed unless you hit a bump mid corner. With four people in the car (max of a 162 celica) it could create problems, especially in carparks.
Car handled very well on smooth roads, was a bit rough on bumpy stuff though. Not much ground clearence, pretty sure it would have been illegal but was never troubled about it.
Looked very nice .
Remember the Celica guards would be a fair bit bigger than the corolla's. Keep this in mind before making a decision. Personally, if put in the same position again I would probably just go for the Low springs but I don't regret my decision at all.
