Classique71 Forums Junkie Location: Colac, Victoria Registered: May 2002	Re: entering AE86 in Targa tasmania Fri, 12 August 2005 07:23 its a big boys toys club in Targa Classic Adelaide is a bit friendlier but they are a ot more choosy on what cars can enter and yes - 5 and a bit thousand dollars minimum to enter the event , without including the cost to prepare the car , travel there , accomidation , time off work , insurance etc etc .. it adds up real quick So far to prepare for classic adelaide for example - its cost my driver ( who owns the car ) well in excess of 10K to get it entered and prepared - not including major mechanical work, or the purchase of the car ( he now also purchased a backup Mint original RS2000 Mk2 escort so to guarantee us a runner this year ..) Were dealing with an original Perana capri though - which has heaps more chance getting into event like this then a sprinter with a updated , non factory motor personally without turning a key or steppinginto the car - its cost me about $1500 so far in equipment + assorted fee's to be approved [Updated on: Fri, 12 August 2005 07:31] [Report message to a moderator]
