high tensile all-thread is usually quite cheap however the M8 size is considered to be an unusual size by the place I called and has a high price premium, it was $35 a meter. They did however have a stainless all-thread for $7.50 a meter.
kingmick: To make my studs I would just clamp on a limit on my cut-off saw and then cut them all at once. Once I have done that I would quickly round the ends a little on the linisher to get rid of burrs and to take care of the thread. So I am sure it would take very little time. Whats the ARP ones cost do you know?
The stainless steel is sopposedly equivolent to a grade 7, I don't know the grade of steel. Do you guys think this is an ok material to use?
mrshin: I didn't know eqhuast shops sold these, what did they charge you for them and what should I be asking for if I was to get some off them?
