i think the valve train is more of an issue than the stroke.
i also think that the pn height and piston design should be uite so tall.. ie more like every other decent motor.. as opposed to the drink botle style pistons they have now..
it is a lot of work when you will still be restricted by the head and valve train, and the fact that it is 1350cc..
fwiw, my 4K went to 7000+ nearly every gearchange for a few years. never broke.
but i like your idea  .. aren't 7K rods skinny?
