How much do you shave off the 20v heads what sort of Microtech

one the Blacktop, nothing, just a clean up and a TRD 0.8 mm gasket and the Silvertop, very little ( 1 thou max) and the same gasket (TRD 0.8mm). But it also depends on fuel. As for the ECU, any aftermarket one will do.

they came in an ae101R wagon released in 1995 (yes the yeaf of release of the blacktop) and nothing else

Which engine are you talking about? If it the B/top,Yes the AE101R wagon did come with it as this is where I got mine from; BZ touring and also the GT sedan... the Hatch was quickily phased out by 1995 as it didn't sell for some reason and never got the late model 20V's

Is the 20v and 16V Adjustable cams gears are both the same?

Not 100% sure, but just get the ones to suit your engine
Quote:

is the any benifit by just putting adjustable cams gears only?

Yes, but very not a great amount

and by just putting cams in the engine, do i need to replace value springs or and things else in the engine?

Depends on lift duration and redline. Any different cams will need the correct shims, but some will be fine with standard shim etc. Clearences will always need to be checked, and unfortuately, this will be after a dumby fit.
