If you wanted to make any decent power out of a 4AGE then regrinding is not for you, there is a really good article on the club4ag.com web site. It also depends on what mods have been done to your engine, for example, the factory computer is pushing its limits at cams of more then 270 degrees, cams of above about 8.0mm lift and you are going to need new valve springs, over 9mm lift and you are going to have to go the shim under buckets, to make the cams work at maximum efficiency you are going to also need adjustable cam pullies, cams above 288 degrees and you are going to have to replce the inlet manifold, and various other engine parts to get it to hold together above 8500 RPM,
your power band will be dictated by what profile you choose, the higher you go the more a close ratio gearbox helps.
Also check out http://www.billzilla.org/4agmods.htm
for absolutely everything you need to know,
FWIW the TRD cams are available in 272/7.5mm,272/10mm,288/7.5mm/
288/10mm,296/11mm,300/10mm,304/7.5mm,304/10mm,304/ 10.7mm,304/11mm
312/11mm,320/10mm,320/11mm
Cheers
