I have KYB shocks in my corolla (ae82 twinky) and they kick ass, a little cheaper than koni's but alot of people say they are just as good in most respects (except you can't rebuild/adjust them). I am running them on lovell springs and it drives like a dream  It is definately better than the full whiteline kit my mate has in his old twinky
