celicamad Forums Junkie Location: newcastle Registered: June 2002	Re: exhausts and mufflers for a 1JZ Thu, 30 January 2003 11:24 sorry i somehow missed this post i know its old but ive been asked to reply My advice is simple run a straight through 3 or 3 and 1/2 inch sytem with a resonator and a rear muffler (loud) or swap reso for oval straight through muffler.twin cats is heaps better in fact my twin cats flow as good as punched 3 inch but im legal . The ultimate system is twin 2.5 into single 3.5 with twin cats 1 oval muffler and 1 rear straight through quiet and great flow the twins should join just past the gearbox [Report message to a moderator]
