Don't waste your time with Pedders/Monroe shocks. These are fine for a stock taxi but crap if you care about handling. If you're going to pay for new shocks you might as well fork out the extra for real shocks (eg Koni's), and don't be put off if they don't list any for your specific model - any decent suspension shop will be able to find something close to what you need and adapt it if necessary. My front struts (MX83 Cressida) have ST165 Celica inserts in them with a 25mm spacer in the bottom of the strut tube.
