i have a similar (if not the same) problem atm
ive just had a new engine installed (previous one seized), and when you floor it suddenly, it kind of stutters/jerks. i havent been game enough to keep flooring it after that though.
anyway, i took it into the mechanic's the other day because the check engine light was coming on and i thought it was because of low level/pressure power steering fluid as it was leaking, but he found that the oxygen sensor had a frayed wire or something like that. im taking it in again tomorrow morning so he can put the oxy sensor from my old engine on there, so ill get back to you guys on whether it works or not
