i have searched over and over for the right info but couldnt come across wat i needed... have a few points id like to clear up, im builing a 5k with various mods and need to kno a few things before i dive in the deep end.
the engine is to be reasonably worked
- twin 40mm doce webbers
- performance crow cam
- mild head work
- extractors
- electric dizzy
as far as i know 5k's have hydraulic lifters but solid lifters would better suit the application?
5k's have dished pistons? if flat top pistons were obtained could a worked 4k head be used?
just how much compression is too much compression?
basically im after all the info to get the best performance out of the little girl and any help would be greatly appreciated.
