I'm thinking put a fitting on port 3 and blocking it off, then placing a vent in the hose between the wastegate and the solenoid. That sound like the right way to do it? I've consulted the Autronic documents, but it's setup is like a "conventional" EBC.

Yeh, SiliconChip wants to set it up differently... follow its diagrams of a vent between the solenoid and wastegate.
It does then sound like the 3rd port should be blocked.
