Fri, 19 August 2005 07:41 you'll also want to avoid overspeeding the turbine if it's not hooked up the intake so the last thign you want to do is run the engine hard with no piping from turbo to inlet. you should have filtered air to the inlet - regardless of whether it comes via the turbo or directly from the engine bay. if need be, mockup the piping with bits of intake piping from EFI wrecks - if only to get it to a zorst/welding place that can weld 2" or whaterver sized pipe you want. are you trying to find somewhere that does alloy piping? hitech radiators (rocklea?) do alloy piping, as does western suburbs radiators (sumner park) exotic exhausts (sumner park) and muffler pro (at seventeen mile rocks) could both weld up intercooler piping with steel - well they've both said yes when i asked. cheers, charles [Report message to a moderator]
