Fri, 31 January 2003 11:43 there is only two things between the coil and distributor, one is the ignition lead which carries the main voltage to the plugs, the second is the wire which goes from the coil to the points inside the distributor which i would class as being an ignitor as this carries the signal from the points to the coil to say when and when not to charge, release power ect.
