Well maybe not. The early one's had point's dizzy's the later one's should be elec. I think it goes something like -
18RG = Carby + points dizzy
18RGU = Carby + elec dizzy
There was also the 18RGEU = EFI + elec dizzy
Some part of the engine code indicates elec. ignition. The "U" I think??? Check that you in fact have an 18RG"U" and not just an 18RG (earlier model)
I've lent out my 18RG manual so I can't check at the moment and I'm not even sure that info is in there anyway.
