nathan - there are a few ways i looked at to make the IEBC work with the Autronic solenoid.
What i did with teh pimpy AE71 was the following:
# boost source from turbo compressor outlet to COMMON of solenoid.
# block off the NORMALLY CLOSED port of solenoid
# NORMALLY OPEN outlet of solenoid to T-piece.
# one side of T-piece to wastegate
# other side of T-piece to small "bleed-off" opening
The idea of the small bleed is so that when you shut the throttle and thus create vacuum in the intake (causing the solenoid to block off the boost source to the wastegate) you dont get pressure built up to the wastegate line - otherwise your turbo would be slower to spin up again for the next gear.. AFAIK.
I would have to read up on the kit again to remember how i set mine up inside the kit..... but of course to program it you want 100% D.C. output at low input levels... and the output D.C. to decrease as you approach the desired boost level.
I remember there being a setting on the circuit to "invert" the output.
THe reason i used the N.O. port on the solenoid was in case it broke or lost power.... cos if it were on NC port, you would have zero boost control....
here's a dodgy diagram.
